Baby Brynn Michelle

We are having a girl and we are thrilled!!!  She looks great and is growing right on target.  She weighed 11 oz. at our ultrasound today.  So tiny, but I definitely feel her kicking.  Greg even got to feel her move yesterday.

We've decided to name her, Brynn Michelle.  Brynn is a name that I've always liked and we think that it goes well with Kyle.  Michelle is my middle name, of course, but we are using it in honor of her Pa-Pa (my dad, Michael) and of a very close family friend who passed away, Michael Field.  She's definitely going to be our little princess and have us all (especially her daddy) wrapped around her little finger!!

On another note, we did discover during the ultrasound that I have Placenta Previa, which means that my placenta is directly over my cervix.  I have to go back in 6 weeks and have another ultrasound to check on it.  A lot of times, it will move as the uterus grows, so please pray that it does.  I am already scheduled to have another C-section so there hopefully should be no issues with the birth.  I just have to take it easy for the rest of the pregnancy.

Thanks for all your well wishes and congrats!  We can't stop smiling!

Whaaaaat? A New Post??

I know, I know.  It's been almost 2 months since I posted last.  Everything is great, though, just busy.

Here are the updates:
Greg took his medical school board exam on June 9th and had a week off which he spent in Dallas with Kyle, myself and our families.  He started his orientation for his rotations today.  He is officially a 3rd year medical student.  Halfway done!

Speaking of halfway, I am nearly halfway through this pregnancy!  I'll be 20 weeks on Wednesday and it is truly flying by.  We find out the sex of our little Hammie on Friday!  Greg and Kyle will be with me and I am thrilled!

Kyle is his busy self.  It is hard to believe that he will be 17 months old next week.  He is truly amazing and a joy to watch.  He is into EVERYTHING and loves exploring his world.  While in Dallas he took some swimming lessons (with Daddy's help).  It was basically a crash course in "saving yourself".  He screamed (along with 11 other babies, including his cousin, Emeri).  He did really well and we are going to practice with him this summer at our apartment pool.

We are all doing well and are glad to get to spend more time together as a family.  I'll close with some recent pictures.  Enjoy!
